"It is universally true that the renegotiation of trauma is an inherently mythic-poetic-heroic journey." -Peter Levine

Spirals of Freedom is a place where people are offered the creative space they need to facilitate movement in their lives. Clients who seek therapy within the Spiral are courageous, heart-centered people who want to make a difference in their lives, in the lives of those closest to them and the bigger community. They deeply desire a change that will get their life "moving" again.

The first thing to know about me is that I believe my clients are the expert in their own lives. Each client holds the power for change an transformation within themselves and has the inner resources to solve their own problems. My task is to guide and assist my client(s) in reconnecting with their organic creativity, motivation, passion and desires.

I have been co-creating healthy systems with families, individuals and groups as a counselor for the last 20 years. In addition to my counseling career, I have spent the last 30 years working in finance administration and business management. I have a deep passion and interest for supporting efficient an d holistic systems in both the private and professional sectors.

My research has been quite extensive especially in regard to family dynamics, relationships, development trauma, complex PTSD, healthy systems, finance, business, creativity, spirituality and matters of the heart and soul. My academic background is in psychology, applied behavioral science and systems counseling and consulting. I hold a MA from the Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS) program of Bastyr University, Kenmore, Washington.

AST- Artistic Systems Therapy© is a holistic, wisdom-based, mind-body-soul integrative psychotherapy, used to connect with the creative source at the core of a individual. In AST, the evolutionary process is shared, witnessed and nurtured in the co-creative counseling work between client(s) and therapist.

As an Artistic Systems Therapist, my theoretical approach is broad and multi-dimensional with a holistic systemic base. I believe healing comes from tending to the unique needs and circumstances of my client(s) by utilizing skills, models and techniques that are customized in a collaborative process.
